Good Evening!

Today is Exodus Eve here at tech school. Tomorrow I’ll be on a plane headed home, and let me tell you, I actually feel excited now to go home. I can see family and friends, hopefully I can drive around a bit once again. It’s gonna be good to cruise around at home, seeing if anything has changed recently.

Anyway, I’ll be touching down in LA at night, I don’t know exactly what time but it will be in the evening at some point. I’m looking forward to seeing all my friends, and maybe even people I haven’t talked to in a while.

Well I gotta go, this isn’t my PC. SEe you all later!

Hello.

It’s been somewhat dull here so far. Lots of briefings, nothing really interesting. Things are way more chill here than back in Basic. MTLs are supposed to be approachable, and so far they’ve proven to be such. Just if I jack up, of course they’ll say something, but they’re far more polite here than back in Lackland.

Anyway, I have an address now where I can get mail. Please send me whatever the hell you want, I’ll post the address later… I forgot it in my room.

I hope to hear from you all. I don’t have easy access to internet, I consider myself pretty lucky to even be here right now. Curfew is in 30 minutes, so I’m just gonna wrap this up and get ready for bed.

Good night.

I graduated!

I’m at tech school right now, on a pay-per-minute computer so I need to make this quick. I just want to say thanks to my family and Lawrence and Cookie for coming all the way down to San Antonio to visit me for my BMT graduation. I truly, truly appreciate all the effort and expense you put yourself through for me.

Like I said, I’m now in Mississippi and it’s kinda weird… chow hall isn’t such a blur, no more “sit, eat, get out”, girls eat with and mingle with guys, and the training instructors are really relaxed about things. I am currently in Phase I of my tech school, which means that for 30 days (not counting the 2 weeks of leave I have coming up) I am pretty restricted as far as personal freedoms. I can’t own a TV, can’t have a computer or anything else sitting on my desktop, etc. But I can walk around the base in between classes and curfew. And no Reville!!! I can sleep until 0800 tomorrow morning if I wanted to… but I won’t. I’m gonna try to keep my current schedule of waking up early and being productive.

Anyway, that’s all the time I have now. I’m gonna look at some news sites before my time is up here, so ciao.
